South African music stars Nadia Nakaiand Toss are joining forces for their highly anticipated collaborative EP, Do’s & Dont’s – aproject exploring the challenges, misunderstandings and unspoken rules that come withmodern relationships.

The project stems from a viral moment  that captured the attention of fans earlier this year,when Nadia Nakai and Toss shared a kiss in Toss’s music video, which droppedon Valentine’s Day. The intimate moment immediately sparked dating rumours andspeculation about the nature of their relationship, creating intrigue around the pair andsetting the stage for their unexpected musical collaboration.

Built around the idea of two people falling for each other despite coming from completelydifferent backgrounds, Do’s & Dont’s brings together Toss’s perspective from the hood andNadia Nakai’s suburban upbringing. Their contrasting worlds influence how theycommunicate, express love, handle conflict and understand loyalty.

Across the project, Nadia and Toss take listeners through the different stages of a relationship – from  attraction and excitement to arguments, jealousy, trust issues and thestruggle to meet each other halfway. Each song offers both sides of the story, showing howthe same situation can be experienced and understood very differently.

While Nadia Nakai is known for her commanding Hip Hop  background and Toss has established himself within the Amapiano space, Do’s & Dont’s does not sound like whatfans may expect from either artist. Instead of simply combining Hip Hop and Amapiano,the pair step outside their familiar musical worlds to create a fresh, unexpected soundthat reveals new sides of them both.

The project challenges the expectations of Nadia and Toss’s existing fanbases, proving thatneither artist is confined to one genre. Their contrasting styles, voices and energies cometogether in a way that feels surprising yet natural, giving Do’s & Dont’s its own distinctmusical identity.
