South African singer-songwriter and acclaimed performer Langa Mavuso is set to take audiences across the country on The Other Side Tour, a ten-date national tour bringing his distinctive blend of soul, R&B and contemporary African music to some of South Africa’s most notable venues.
Friday, 25 September 2026, South Africa – Following a career defined by powerful storytelling, emotional depth and an unmistakable vocal presence, The Other Side Tour invites audiences to experience Langa Mavuso beyond the expected – exploring the music, emotions and perspective that exist onthe other side of the artist and his journey. The tour officially kicks off on 2 October 2026 at the Kumalo Turpin Gallery, presented by Stella Artois, before travelling to Emperors Palace in Johannesburg on 24 October.
At its heart, The Other Side Tour is about creating a space where audiences can connect with Langa Mavuso through his music in a deeper and more intimate way. Known for music that explores love, identity, vulnerability, heartbreak and personal transformation, Langa has consistently used his artistry to tell stories that resonate beyond the stage. The tour provides an opportunity to bring those stories to life through a carefully curated live experience.
Rather than simply presenting a collection of songs, The Other Side Tour is designed as a journey – moving audiences through different emotional landscapes while showcasing the musicianship, performance and artistry that have become synonymous with Langa’s live shows. Audiences can expect a performance that moves between the intimate and the expansive, with Langa’s vocals and storytelling at the centre of the experience. As the tour moves from city to city, it promises to be a celebration of where Langa Mavuso has been, wherehe is now and the artistic territory that lies ahead.
The Other Side Tour takes a journey through a decade-long career of music that is filled with love and healing. The tour will explore the extensive catalogue from Liminal Sketches to Therapy: The Other Side. Audiences can expect all the favourite classics and some new sounds too – and along the tour, some special guest surprise acts. He will also have the introduction of brand-new music from his upcoming deluxe album – scheduled to be released on October 16, 2026.
