Following the success of its Fourways branch, The Urban Playground is expanding its creative reach with a new, dynamic and multi-functional space designed to bring people together through movement, play, creativity and community.

Yesterday, The Urban Playground hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to launch its new venue, growth and forward movement.

The Urban Playground at Rosebank mall is set to create the ultimate experience for the youth – a space where young people can express their passions in a safe and secure environment.

Officially opening its doors to the general public on Saturday 1 August, the space is created to be a go-to for the adventurous creative and social entrepreneurs, while providing a vast diverse range of services.

The Urban Playground also welcomes Robot Boii as a strategic partner – marking a long-term investment in the future of the business. Beyond his role as an entertainer, Robot Boii will help shape the venue’s strategic direction, brand development and cultural programming as it establishes itself as a leading destination for youth culture and entertainment.

Says Adriano Franco, Creator of The Urban Playground: “It is a dream come true to open the Rosebank venue. The purpose is to create a first-of-its-kind in the world that has been built by people within the community and partnering with Robot Boii just makes sense, as he is a brand within the creative community that speaks to the youth and beyond. Located at shop number 400, accessible just above Incredible Connection or through the rooftop entrance on level 3 parking.

10AM – 8PM (Mondays – Thursdays)

10AM – 10PM (Fridays & Saturday)

Fees: 

Memberships range from R350 – R750

Daily sessions range from R50 – R150 (subject to activity)
