Known individually as multitalented performers and collectively as a creative force reshaping the sound of the streets, the trio brings an electrifying new dimension to South Africa’s flourishing Amapiano movement. The caught our attention with their first single Ufunani on TikTok with their distinct identity and street culture.
Before stepping into the recording studio, Rogers, Neville NP and Njeba Baba built their reputation as part of the renowned dance group Urban Pantsula, a crew celebrated for pushing boundaries in contemporary township dance culture. Their years of rhythmic precision, performance excellence and deep cultural grounding now translate into a distinct musical voice—one that fuses the soul of dance with the pulse of Amapiano.
Their upcoming single, “Shiqi,” is set for release on 25 March, marking their first official offering under Sony Music. Driven by infectious energy, street-rooted authenticity and the trio’s signature flair, “Shiqi” is poised to make a bold entrance into the genre and introduce a refreshing sonic identity that is uniquely their own.
With their combined history in Urban Pantsula and a shared passion for shaping the future of Amapiano, the trio signals a powerful new chapter not only in their careers, but also in the evolving landscape of South African music.
