GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer Anthony Hamilton will celebrate a 20-year milestone in his career during a special concert at Sun Bet Arena, Time Square in Menlyn, Tshwane, on 23 Sept 2023.

Hamilton, who caught the attention of music lovers with his critically-acclaimed debut album XTC, has released seven studio albums that have made him one of the most successful storytelling soul/R&B artists of his generation.

But it was the release of his sophomore platinum plus-selling album Comin’ From Where I’m From that made him a breakout star. The album features his first chart-topping single Charlene, which showcases Hamilton’s one-of-a-kind, rugged and soulful voice.

Comin’ From Where I’m From was released on 23 September 2003. Hamilton, who is no stranger to South Africa, will return to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album’s release with an intimate performance on 23 September 2023.

Hamilton will be joined onstage by The Ton3s (formerly known as The Hamiltones) and some of South Africa’s top artists and DJs for this historic event. It’s an excellent way to celebrate Mzansi’s Heritage Month while two-steppin’ to this incomparable star’s timeless music that tells the highs and lows of love, heartbreak, loss, pain, happiness and nearly every emotion.
Performing alongside Anthony is the multitalented vocalist and trumpeter, Mandisi Dyantyis. The music maverick who is best known for his hit single, Molo Sisi will be conducting a beautiful music set as he is known for his moving music.

With two albums under his belt, he won music lovers over with his debut album, Somandla in 2018 followed by Cwaka in 2021. Known for hypnotizing his audience with his jazz laced sound that captures the essence of his soul, this will be a performance made in heaven.

Other acts joining Anthony Hamilton and Mandisi on stage who will sure get us in the mood include Mzansi DJs who are all about spreading love: Tbose, Msizi Shembe and DJ Young.
